Come and meet a Tudor King! Hear grisly tales of times
gone by and hilarious stories of misdeeds!

The Royal
Progress is a tour by Mike Farley, the UK’s number 1 professional Henry
VIIIth look-a-like and re-enactor, bringing his own hilarious slant on
history to rural Somerset for the summer. Are the kids getting bored
already? As parents, are you tearing your hair out thinking of something
new for them to do? Then here is the answer to all your problems. An hour
of informative, hilarious history, aimed primarily at junior school
children, but with something for everyone to enjoy. You can even try your
hands at some Hobby Horse jousting! Or how about posing for a photo with
the King himself in his full flowing robes! Come and see the King at the
following venues:
- 13th
August – Seavington Millennium Hall, nr Ilminster. 3pm.
- 14th
August – Compton Dundon Village Hall, nr Street. 3pm
- 16th
August – Stoke-sub-Hamdon Village Hall, 3pm
- 17th
August – Clapton & Wayford Village Hall, nr Crewkerne. 3pm
- 18th
August – Barrington Court NT Property, nr Ilminster. 12noon – 4pm
- 19th
August – Barrington Court NT Property, nr Ilminster. 12noon – 4pm

August – East Coker Village Hall, nr Yeovil, 3pm

August – Norton-sub-Hamdon Village Hall, 3pm
Prices
for all shows (apart from 18th and 19th) are: Adults
£3.50 each, Children under 14 & OAPs: 50p each. Children under 14 MUST be
accompanied by an adult.
